RaLight Solutions, represented yesterday the Spanish Videogames Industry (DEV) in the business meeting ‘Brazil-Spain: towards a new business alliance’ in Madrid. Spain and Brazil intend to increase the volume of bilateral trade and investment with the goal of duplicating until 2025, according to what the Spanish Ministry of Economy said in a statement.
In the event, organised by ICEX and APEX, the Vice President of Brazil, Michel Temer, and Spain’s Economy Minister Luis de Guindos, pledged to promote cooperation, especially supporting the internationalization of SMEs. The Videogames Industry was represented by DEV (Spanish Videogame Development) and ABRAGAMES, (brazilian Association of Digital Games Developers). In their interventions, both organisations stressed the harmony between the two countries and the enormous possibilities of cooperation in the field of gaming. In fact, RaLight Solutions spoke about the recent partnership with the Brazilian Joysticket company as a perfect example of cooperation of both countries.
Economy Minister said that bilateral relations are going through a “good time”, but stressed that “can still go a long way together,” as they have the opportunity to strengthen and promote mutual exchange, making it “deeper, diversified and robust” . He also recalled that Spain is a stable investment for Brazil, with long-term, technology transfer and job creation. For his part, Vice President of Brazil stated that Spain is the second largest foreign investor in the country and stressed “the greatest satisfaction” that Spanish companies have demonstrated their confidence in continuing to invest in Brazil and aim to become the largest foreign investor country.
